Quick-Check-TCell Tower Cable Tension Meter with Bluetooth Output
The Quick Check-T tension meter with Bluetooth output is designed for precise tension measurement of tower guy cables. The included mobile app produces comprehensive reports of tension readings with GPS location, date, and time which can be easily exported once the job has been completed.
The QC-T can be placed on a cable, measure its tension, and removed in under three seconds! There are no complex lookup tables or conversion charts required. The operator can quickly select from 20 different wire sizes and types stored in QC-T's memory. The Check-Tensioning mode graphically displays the current and target tensions for an extremely quick setting of line tension. Even the infrequent battery changes are quick.
The QC-T is used in many industries to ensure proper tensioning. Typical applications include tower and stack guy wires, zip lines, pretensioned cable barriers, bridges, elevators, winch rope, overhead electric transit wires, fall arrest systems, hll horizontal life lines, aircraft cables and utilities.

Calibration Suggested wire calibrations:
Calibrate each cable diameter installed with the most appropriate sheaves. If two cable types are used of the same diameter (e.g. ½” 7x7 and ½” 6x19), calibrate each type independently if accuracy is critical.
Recalibration: At user discretion. Commonly 24 months but should be more frequently with heavy use. Factory recalibration conducted typically in 2-4 days.
Custom Calibration Available
The Quick-Check can be calibrated with a customer supplied sample if none of the factory calibrated materials are suitable. In this case a 10 ft. sample must be supplied (non-returnable).

What Size Sheaves should be Selected?
Three sheave sizes are available. For most applications one sheave set for the entire assortment of wire they tension will be sufficient. If you need to check tension in both 3/16" and 3/4" rope, then they should order two sheave sets. The operator must use the appropriate sheave set for the wire size and calibration stored. Changing sheaves sets takes about two minutes with the included wrench. Calibration
The Quick-Check needs to be calibrated in advance for each wire diameter / wire construction you will be measuring. 1 calibration is included at no charge, each additional calibration is $120.
When listing cables you must provide the diameter & construction, for example;
Cable 1: 1/2", 1x7
Cable 2: 3/4", 1x19

QB-10000
Capacity: 10000 lb / 45 kN / 4500 kg
Calibration: Calibrated for 1⁄2", 9⁄16" and 5⁄8" wire rope (8x19) additional calibrations are optional
The new QB-10000 Tension Meter provides a quick and easy way to accurately measure and display all of the elevator traction cable tensions in a set while the tension on a single cable is being adjusted. This makes it extremely easy to balance the tensions of up to 16 elevator cables or any other multiple-line array of tension cables, such as tower and stack guy wires, crane rigging sets and platform lifts, etc. The digital display also shows the average tension of the set as well as the total tensile load.
The QB-10000 installs easily, measures cable tension up to 10,000 lbs directly, stores readings and is removed from the cable in seconds. No lookup or reference to correction or conversion charts is required. Writing down measurements for comparison purposes is also not required.
Balancing the tensions on a set of cables takes minutes instead of hours and can be done by a single person, working alone, instead of two or three.
