FUATURES

AUTO TURRET

Auto Turret perform a series of load operations and the object lens for measuring comes automatically back to the central position after making indentation. Positive turret stops ensure exact alignment of the indenter to the measuring and scanning objectives. This allows precise placement of the diamond impression on your test sample.

  LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY TOUCH PANEL

Large LCD touch panel with a clear display and back light can perform various data processing and other functions. The display will disappear after5 --minutes of inactivity and power reduction will automatically occur but data and functions are retrained.

  ACCURATE LOADING MECHANISM

A precise ball bearing turret gives HIGHWOOD Hardness Testers an accurate movement between the objectives and the diamond indenter. This assures you of consistent placement of your impression. The alignment of the loading weights over the diamond penetrater provides accurate load application.

  HK KNOOP HARDNESS

Knoop hardness calculating functions can be changed over with a one-touch panel operation. (HK Knoop indenter is optional)

  HIGH RIGIDITY BODY

Newly designed HWDV-7 (7S) can perform high-accuracy measurements with the specially rigidity enhanced body.

  TWO OBJECT LENSES can be mounted simultaneously

In addition to the normal measuring lens(X10 or X20) , one more lens of different magnification can be mounted regularly.

  APPLICABLE TO CE AND SAFETY

Safety design applicable to EU low voltage command, EMC command and machine command. In addition to high-rigidity body , overturn-preventive metal fittings are attached as standard to prevent overturning by earthquakes, etc.
