The HERON rigid video borescope is a reliable cost-effective device that can perform a variety of direct inspections due to interchangeable probes. They are easy to attach, giving you greater flexibility in different inspection settings. With the HERON you are able to change the probe length between 11.8” (30cm), 17.7” (45cm) and 27.5” (70cm).

The HERON rigid videoscope can be also supplied with 340° rotatable probes that features a 2-way 180 degrees tip articulation in each direction allowing for thorough examination of the inspecting area. 

Optional rigid probe with a side view (90 degrees) image sensor is also available upon request.

The working temperate of the probes ranges between -200C and 600C. They are also IP57 waterproof. 

All the probes for this rigid video borescope feature a high-resolution CMOS chip and LED lights integrated at the tip, offering bright, clear, color images of the inspection area. LED lights illumination intensity can be adjusted by pushing a button on the monitor.

The inspection images are displayed in color on the integrated 3.5” LCD screen with a resolution of 720x640 pixels. All captured files are saved to an SD memory card, and can be downloaded directly to a computer or laptop via a USB Cable. A video output jack transfers the image to a larger TV monitor allowing you to discuss repairs and troubleshooting directly with customers. 

The highly portable design is also waterproof (probe), and features anti-shock construction, so it can travel with you.

A rechargeable LI-polymer battery provides up to 3 hours of continuous video capture on a full charge, and requires only 2 hours to recharge.

The videoscope probe can be attached to an image hub (monitor base) directly or through an optional flexible 3 meter extension cable. 

This HERON rigid video borescope is an ideal choice for aviation, automotive and law enforcement (police, SWAT, military, customs and border protection etc.) application.
