เครื่องวัดชิ้นงานละเอียดตัวนี้ สามารถวัดพื้นผิวที่มีลวดลายสูง 1มม. ~ 10 มม. ให้ภาพเสมือนจริง ในระดับอนุภาคนาโนมิเตอร์โดยใช้การแทรกแซงปรากฏการณ์ของแสงที่มองเห็นได้ 3D Surfiew มีระบบที่จะไม่ก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายกับตัวอย่างที่วัดได้และมีความสามารถในการปรับความสูงให้กับเลนส์วัตถุประสงค์ที่แตกต่างกันซึ่งแตกต่างจากกล้องจุลทรรศน์แบบคอนฟิเกอเรชัน ระบบยังให้ Field-Of-View กว้างขึ้นและเวลาในการตรวจวัดที่รวดเร็วแตกต่างจาก AFM
